What is .htaccess?

.htaccess  file is a configuration file supported by a number of web servers, used for configuration of site-access issues, such as URL redirection, URL shortening, Access-security control and more.

 - .htaccess is used to create restrictions for root folders.

 - Change pages, issuing a server error.

 - Changing complex URL.

  When you make any changes to the .htaccess file, they will immediately take place.
